Most frequent questions and answers

Is there a minimum order quantity?

There is no minimum quantity order for our Direct-to-Garment products and certain Embroidered products. Screen Printed products start at a 24 piece minimum. Refer to our Screen Printing Price Chart for more.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders will take 5-10 business days production and up to 3 days for shipping depending on what carrier and shipping speed is selected upon checkout. There are rush options available for certain products. Please contact us for a quote.

What’s the difference between digital vs. screen printing?

With direct-to-garment, your design is printed directly from the computer to the shirt using a state-of-the-art ink jet printer. This technique allows you to print tons of colors making it a perfect choice for full-color photographs. The direct-to-garment method also allows us to offer custom t-shirts with no minimum order requirement. 

Screen printing is a more traditional t-shirt customization method in which each color in a design is separated and burned to individual fine-mesh screens. Ink is then transferred to the shirt through the screen. Larger orders that need customization may opt for screen printing because it’s more cost-effective. 

What happens after I place my order?

All orders are reviewed before they are officially confirmed. Our customer service team reviews each detail of your order, where we inspect your designs and make automatic fixes like alignment, spelling mistakes, and even smooth out rough and pixelated uploaded images before setting up your design for the appropriate print method.

Can I make changes after my order has been placed?

We process orders quickly to get them to you as fast as possible — which means that we can’t guarantee that changes can be made after you’ve submitted your order. We recommend double-checking your order before you finalize it. If you do happen to make an error on your order, feel free to Contact Us.

What determines my price?

When calculating the price of your custom items first is the product, meaning if it’s a t-shirt, joggers,etc. 

Next is the print method. For direct-to-garment printed orders, pricing is determined by the number of print locations (front, back, both sleeves). Screen printed and vinyl orders take into account the number of locations AND the number of colors per location (ex. 1-color front, 2-color back). 

Last is quantity. Ordering more of the same design lets you take advantage of price breaks and pay less per shirt. With screen printed orders especially, you’ll see huge discounts as you add more shirts to your order.  

Can I still get a bulk order discount if my design is the same, but it is printed on multiple colors and styles?

Yes, we are happy to adjust your order to reflect the bulk pricing discount on multiple styles and shirt colors. As long and the design will not be changing, we can make adjustments to the order. Just give us a call at 214-506-3133 and we will be happy to make the adjustments for you.

Where can you ship to?

We currently ship anywhere within the U.S.

Can we drop off/mail in products for them to be printed on?

Yes, we allow customers to bring their own products. Please send them to us or drop them off at our main office. 

Can I print on the sleeve?

Yes and please use the quote request form to upload mock ups and etc. 

Can I print trademarked materials?

For certain uploaded materials, we may ask that you provide written proof that you have the right to use an image, or you may be contacted by our service team with a concern regarding copyrighted or trademarked uploads.

Can I resell shirts I’ve purchased from Put It On A Shirt, etc?

Yes, you can resell shirts you’ve purchased from us as long as they use our clip art or uploaded images that you own the rights to.
